Clear the Shelters

The fourth annual Clear the Shelters adoption event put on by NBC and Telemundo is happening on August 18th. Adoption fees will be reduced at hundreds of shelters throughout the United States to help animals get adopted, while at the same time opening up space for even more homeless animals.

This is a great opportunity for those looking to adopt a pet, as well as for all the animals in the shelters who are ready to enjoy the experiences provided to them by loving families. Many animals that live in shelters were found on the streets, surrendered by their owners, or ended up there for other reasons out of their control. They are wonderful animals with love to give to their human, so please considering adopting a dog during the Clear the Shelters event!

Below are a few dogs who are available for adoption at shelters in Southern California that are participating in the Clear the Shelters adoption:

grey pit bull
Luz (A1775875) is available at North Central Shelter in Los Angeles.
senior pit bull labrador retriever mix
Buddy (A349546) is available at Pasadena Humane Society.
white and brown chihuahua
Connor (ID 35397) is available at the San Gabriel Valley Humane Society.
